My foray into the world of coffee began with a humble espresso machine at a bakery where I had my first job. The taste of quality coffee intrigued me, unveiling a realm far beyond commercial-grade arabica and robusta beans and blends. This early exposure sowed the seeds of my interest for specialty coffee—an interest that only grew over the years.

I've had the incredible opportunity to work in various sectors of the coffee industry, from COO to managing and restructuring the satellite office of Tropiq in Ethiopia to restructuring the East Africa portfolio for Nordic Approach. Each experience, each role, has granted me a unique vantage point of the coffee world.

The Coffee Founders Podcast is my way of giving back to the community that has enriched my life in countless ways. As its founder and host, I see myself as a facilitator and sharer. Through the podcast, I want to extend the knowledge I've amassed, hoping to make it common knowledge for all. The podcast is a platform for learning, discovery, and connection—an avenue to delve deeper into the industry, uncover valuable insights, and foster a global dialogue.

My personal values of hard work, integrity, and transparency align seamlessly with the mission and vision of the Coffee Founders Podcast. The industry's breadth and depth fascinate me, and my innate knack for sourcing and business growth drive my passion to share this with the rest of the world.

As the podcast unfolds, I hope our listeners can embrace the wealth of information shared, be inspired by the stories told, and feel empowered to contribute to the evolving narrative of the coffee industry.
